Theatre Calgary's A Night with The Stars

Since 1992, Theatre Calgary’s Oscar Night has carried a reputation for exclusivity, excellence and high-caliber entertainment. This year, the event – one of our biggest fundraising initiatives for 2009-10 – is expected to attract in the neighborhood of 400 guests.

The majority of our attendees are also senior members of Calgary’s arts, business and not-for-profit sectors. Held at Calgary’s exclusive Ranchmen’s Club and headlined by a special guest emcee, the event boasts a variety of features unique from other similar Calgary fundraisers, including:

- Exclusive fare from the Ranchmen’s Club’s Executive Chef Kenneth Titcomb – served in “vertical dining” style.
- A selection of complimentary fine wines and spirits for attendees.
- A silent auction featuring exclusive wines and art from nationwide collections – as well as other exclusive products and services from local retailers.
- The chance to experience the famed “Red Carpet” experience by way of live Oscars simulcasts.
- Our famed “Death By Martini” ice bar experience.

Schedule (subject to change):

5:30 pm – Pre-show reception and red carpet photo opportunities
6:00 pm – Oscars telecast
6:30 pm – Commencement of dinner service
9:30 pm – Silent auction ends
10:30 pm – Announcement of Oscar winners

Tickets for this event will sell for $250 each, or in groups of ten for $2250.00. A charitable tax receipt will be made available for a portion of the value of each ticket purchased. Charitable tax receipts will also be made available for all silent auction donors.
